Not only shined as a brilliant student at Nalanda College Colombo, he came to be a well-known when he led the school debating team. Graduate of the University of Colombo with a B.Sc. Special entered the teaching profession in 1996 as a physics teacher. Since then the knowledge he imparts is well received by his students from whom he expects a high level of attention and discipline. His presentation of subject matter is well received by his students, specially the new syllabus. He can speak with pride of the thousands of students who have entered the medical and engineering profession.
